What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, role, and for coaches a brand name and logo); the videos and session data athletes upload; the movement measurements taken from those videos; the reviews, drills and notes coaches write; subscription and plan status; and basic technical logs such as error reports needed to keep the app working.
Where movement analysis happens
Pose detection runs on the athlete's own device. The video is never sent anywhere for analysis — only the resulting measurements are uploaded alongside it, so the coach and the draft analysis work from numbers rather than from a machine watching the footage.
Why we use it
To run the product: deliver videos to the right coach, prepare the draft analysis, send reviews back, take payments, enforce plan limits, and notify you about your sessions and billing. We do not sell your data or use your videos to advertise to you.
Who else processes it
Supabase (accounts, database, files), Cloudflare R2 (video storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and OpenAI (drafting the written analysis from measurements and your coach's fault library). Each only receives what its job requires.
Who can see your videos
An athlete's video is visible to that athlete and their coach. Video files are stored privately and served through short-lived links, never on a public URL.
How long we keep it
Video is kept for 90 days unless the plan includes a lifetime archive, in which case it stays while the subscription is active. Reviews, measurements and progress history are kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent for anything optional. Most of this is available from your profile screen; for the rest, email privacy@cue.expert and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Cue is not intended for children under 16 without a parent or guardian managing the account and consenting to uploads.
Security
Access is scoped per account at the database level, files are private, and payment card details never touch our servers — Stripe handles them.
