Terms of service

Last updated 14 September 2026

Who we are

Cue is software that helps coaches deliver video feedback to their athletes. These terms are an agreement between you and Cue. By creating an account you accept them.

Accounts

You need an account to use Cue, and one account is either a coach account or an athlete account — never both. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, or have a parent or guardian agree on your behalf.

Coaches: your plan and our share

Coach plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. On top of the plan fee, Cue keeps 7% of the coaching revenue your athletes pay through Cue. Payment processing fees are charged by our payment provider and are separate. Plan limits — active athletes, coaching packages, coach seats and storage — are enforced by the app.

Athletes: your subscription

When you subscribe to a coach, you are buying that coach's service. Cue processes the payment and provides the software. Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel, and cancelling stops future payments while leaving you access until the end of the period you already paid for. If a payment fails you keep access to reviews you already received, but cannot send new sessions until the payment is fixed.

Coaching content and advice

Coaches own their reviews, drills and brand. Athletes own the videos they upload. Each grants Cue only the permission needed to store, process and deliver that content inside the product. Cue does not coach anyone: the analysis a coach sends is their professional judgement, not ours.

Automated analysis

Cue prepares a draft analysis automatically. No draft is ever sent to an athlete without the coach explicitly approving it, and anything the software cannot measure is marked as not evaluated rather than presented as fine.

Not medical advice

Nothing in Cue is medical advice. Training carries risk of injury. Talk to a qualified health professional before acting on anything you read here, and stop if something hurts.

Acceptable use

Do not upload content you have no right to, film people who have not agreed to it, abuse other users, attempt to break or overload the service, or resell access. We may suspend an account that does.

Video retention

Uploaded video is kept for 90 days by default. Plans that include a lifetime archive keep it for as long as the subscription stays active. Written reviews, measurements and history are kept even after a video expires.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel or delete your account at any time from your profile. We may end an account that breaks these terms. When an account is deleted, its data is removed on the schedule described in our privacy policy.

Liability

Cue is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: legal@cue.expert.
